Artist Check In: Summer Edition

Our artists are the backbone of Art Way Alliance. These fantastic people not only instruct our workshops and courses, but also manage their own businesses and projects as well. Here’s what a few of our artists are working on this summer.

Middnite Designs is getting ready for BlerdCon this weekend, July 16 - 18, 2021. They've created new prints and merchandise for the con, and they can’t wait to test them out.

They’ll be at table 402 with this print and others like it!

Chelsea AKA Chaucer of Dedkitty is also getting ready for their first con since the pandemic. Find them at Otakon in Artist Alley!


Artist Nancy Anleu and our own Communications Director, Sierra Dangerfield-Harris started S & N Printables, a company dedicated to producing worksheets to address worries and anxiety.

Their current set of printables is free on Buy Me A Coffee.

 

Kasi Hahs and Darren Soto are working on a Black Lives Matter Mural in Hyattsville sponsored by: The City of Hyattsville, ATHA Inc/Maryland Milestones, Will’s Decorating, and Artist and Craftsman Supply. SoHy Co-op is creating a community space in the area that will be unveiled at the end of the month! Come out and see!

Kurenai Kiba is concrunching in preparation for Otakon and gearing up for her table at AwesomeCon. She hosts Snacks with Sempai on twitch every Wednesday and will soon start the new season of Noir Narration, available everywhere.
