Jake Heagy is an animator, illustrator, woodworker, and an amateur game designer based out of Baltimore, MD. Kind of a "Jake of all trades" (Get it!). Ever since his days raiding ancient Himalayan tombs in the guise of a beautiful, English aristocrat (Lara Croft from “Tomb Raider” people!), Jake knew that he wanted to create games. He later went on to study Animation and Interactive Media at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. It was there that Jake studied 2-Dimensional animation, as well as 3-D and Stop-Motion animation. It was also at UMBC that he was introduced to the concept of “game design” and truly fell in love with it.
Since graduating, Jake has taken to work on a few pet-projects, most of which are with his colleague and close friend, Jimmy Horner. Check out some of his work below.
