We'll be offering the following workshops:

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Be Your Own Superhero - We may not live in a world where people fly or lift cars, but we can all discover our own super-powers and be a real super-hero! Join a fun workshop and learn about the great heroes and heroines of comics who are more popular today than ever! Learn what it takes to be a real super-hero, and design your own super-hero look! Charles Sellner of Visionary Comics instructs.

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Creativity in Comics  - From concept to completion this workshop covers the process of creating a comic book.  There are many steps in making a comic book, and in this class students will learn how to focus ideas into a single concept for a story, story boarding, layout,  and much more. Local Comic Writer/ Creator Keir Lyles will also discuss his own creation process and help students flesh out some ideas.

3:00 Pm - 4:00 PM The Art of Drawing Chibi - Chibi, which means "small child," is a style formed from Japanese anime and manga that exaggerates features like head size and shape, height, and eye size. In this class students will learn to transform a character into a Chibi! We will explore different styles of Chibi as well as pinpointing key features to capture the identity and attitude of a character. Dennis Johnson instructs.

Come on out! Tickets are $10.00 for individuals and $20.00 for families - meaning mom, dad, and kids! We can't wait to see you there!
